Member Information

Meet Reverend Dr. Richard Hollingsworth......
 
Reverend Hollingsworth is the minister for the Braeside Pastoral Charge encompasing the villages of Braeside, Castleford and Glasgow Station.  He has been a member of this community for 12 years and lives in the village of Braeside with his wife Becky.  They have two grown daughters and enjoy music, dance and many activities in their community.
The Riverview Centre has been a dream of Reverend Hollingsworth for many years.  He is a strong believer in community and espcially the rural community.  It is hoped that the Riverview Centre will provide the necessary means for people to learn, share and participate within our changing and dynamic communities.

Beulah Wright - Beulah has worked for 17 years in Renfrew and area as an Addiction Counsellor with the Ministry of Health.
She has a strong interest in spirituality.
She has become a Spiritual Director (Counsellor), offering her services locally and at our planned workshops.

Riverview Foodgrains project

Working with Canadian Foodgrains Bank who collect and distribute agricultual commodies to the world's hungry, Riverview Centre, working with local famers, has dedicated 30 acres of wheat to be distributed in partnership with this non-profit charitable organization.  Most donantions to Canadian Foodgrains Bank are generousl matched by the Canadian Interanional Development Association (CIDA) at a ration of 4:1.

All members are willing to speak to any group wishing information about the Canadian Foodgrains Bank or the local Riverview initiative.

 

Future Projects

Parish Nursing is a real necesity in our rural culture.  It is our hope to provide the means for a Registered Nursing Professional to be available to provide medical procedures to our growing population.
